The current KRC4 robot's battery can be installed in two positions, one above the cabinet door and the other below the cooling channel. The battery is connected to the plug X305 on the control cabinet and protected by F305 fuse. When the control system leaves the factory, the battery plug X305 has been pulled out from CCU to prevent the battery from excessive discharge by PMB.
Note: plug X305 must be plugged in when the control system is off for the first time.
The function of the battery is to help the robot control system shut down in the controlled state with the help of the battery.

Notes for battery replacement:
The robot control system must be shut down and protected against accidental restart.
The power line has been cut off;
Gloves must be worn when disassembling.

A) battery replacement steps below the cooling groove:
1. Remove the cooling tank (3);
2. Unplug the battery connector (1), or unplug the plug X305 in the control cabinet.
3. Remove Velcro and remove battery.
B) steps for battery replacement on cabinet door:
1. Push the battery to the right until the spring is fastened (4).
2. Flip the battery (2) to the right until the fixing bolt (3) is exceeded.
3. Press the spring outward with thumb (4) to remove the battery.
4. Repeat for the second battery
