Robostar Double Wrist Glass Substrate Handling Robot
Generally speaking, the most economical number of cut pieces for glass substrates is 6 pieces.
Like the fifth generation line, a glass substrate with a size of 1200 * 1300mm can cut up to 8 22 inch TV panels or 6 27 inch TV panels. So, 27 inches is the most economical cutting size for the fifth generation line.
For the sixth generation line, a glass substrate with a size of 1800 * 1500mm can cut up to 8 pieces of 32 inch TV panels or 6 pieces of 37 inch TV panels.
The glass substrate size of the seventh generation line is 2200 * 1870mm, which can cut 8 pieces of 42 inch TV panels or 6 pieces of 46 inch TV panels.
The glass substrate size of the eighth generation line is 2400 * 2160mm, which can cut 8 pieces of 46 inch TV panels or 6 pieces of 52 inch TV panels.
The glass substrate size of the tenth generation line is 3080 * 2880mm, which can cut 8 pieces of 57 inch TV panels or 6 pieces of 65 inch TV panels.
The LCD panel industry has now developed to the highest level of 10.5 generation lines, with dimensions of 3370 * 2940mm, mainly used for producing 65 inch and 75 inch panels.
Under the same generation, the size of glass substrates from different factories may vary slightly, but the difference is basically not much.
With the increasing generation of TFT-LCD panel production lines, the area of glass substrates is increasing, but the thickness remains unchanged, such as 0.4mm. Therefore, the risk of glass substrate damage during transportation is higher, and the stability of the robot handling glass substrates is also higher.
The Robostar glass substrate handling robot has a high rigidity and lightweight body, which can suppress vibration and handle LCD glass substrates at high speed and stability for a long time.
